Schlotzsky’s is probably the least vegan-friendly Sandwich-shop out there; but they do have a few vegan options to choose from to build a small meal or snack.
I’d say even Jimmy John’s is more vegan-friendly, and I’d still say they’re a horrible option for us vegans to eat at. If you or family really wants a sub/sandwich restaurant I’d try to look for a Jersey Mike’s or a Jason’s Deli, which both have pretty good vegan options to choose from.
Table of Contents
Vegan Sandwich Options at Schlotzsky's:
- Choose Your Bread – Regular White Tortilla
- Choose Your Vegetables – Black Olives, Cucumbers, Sliced Tomato, Sliced Onion, Lettuce, Mushrooms, Green Bell Peppers.
Unfortunately that’s it, really I would strongly suggest not getting a sandwich at Schlotzsky’s, as the tortilla thing honestly just isn’t that good at all, and unfortunately all of their “real” bread sandwich breads contain dairy and thus aren’t vegan.
Schlotzsky’s Pizzas and Flatbreads apparently contain dairy as well and cannot be made vegan, so really your best option is probably a salad, which we’ll cover below.
Vegan Soups & Salads at Schlotzsky's:
- Garden Salad (No Croutons)
- Robusto Italian Dressing
- Fat-Free Raspberry Vinaigrette
Vegan Sides at Schlotzsky's:
- White Tortilla
- Saltine Crackers
- Baked Regular Chips
- Fried Regular Chips
- Baked Barbecue Chips
- Fried Barbecue Chips
- Fried Jalapeno Chips
Vegan Desserts at Schlotzsky's:
- None
There’s no real desserts available at Schlotzsky’s. All the cookies, brownies, and cinnamon rolls they carry (made by Cinnabon) are non-vegan as they contain dairy and eggs. A real shame, as a vegan cinnamon roll would be something really unique and give us vegans a reason to visit Schlotzsky’s.
