Everything Vegan at Jersey Mikes (2021)

Jersey Mike’s is another “Sub and Chips” type of shop that really only sells one type of item (Sandwiches) made differently. As a result the Vegan options are relatively limited, as you’re limited to just one or two sandwich types/styles.
Not all sandwich shops are like that, some such as Firehouse Subs has some extra things that make more than a single one or two types of sandwiches possible. Some others such as Potbelly Sandwiches and Jasons Deli have other items such as Soups or Pastas that can be made vegan.
Jersey Mikes Vegan Bread/Wrap Options:
- Wheat Sub
- White Sub
- Kaiser Roll
- Seeded Bread
- Flour Wrap
- Golden Wheat Wrap
- Spinach Wrap
- Tomato Wrap
The Rosemary Parmesan Bread contains cheese/dairy so make sure you don’t get that one.
Unfortunately if you’re gluten-free you’re kinda out of luck at Jersey Mikes, as their gluten free bread contains egg-whites. Firehouse Subs has gluten-free bread that’s vegan though, so check if one of those is near you if you’re really craving a sub and eat gluten-free as well as vegan.
Vegan Toppings/Ingredients for your Sub or Wrap:
- Banana Peppers
- Green Peppers
- Hot Red Pepper Relish
- Jalapeno Peppers
- Dill Pickle Slices or Spears
- Lettuce
- Onion Slices

- Tomato Slices
- Sliced Avocado
Those are all the veggies Jersey Mikes has to offer.
You can also put one of the vegan chips listed below on your sub or in your wrap, but they wouldn’t be included with your build-your-own sandwich or wrap at Jersey Mikes. I’d highly recommend getting Avocado on your sandwich, hell even just make a fancy avocado toast — It’s free to add avocado to your Sub/Wrap at Jersey Mikes.

So How is Jersey Mikes for a Vegan?
It’s not as good as some other Sub shops as I mentioned before, but it’s still pretty alright. You can easily build yourself a decent vegan meal, even if that meal is basically just a large avocado-toast sandwich with some onion and other vegetables in it.
While I wouldn’t say Jersey Mikes is a great fast-food option for vegans it has enough options for us to be satisfied and have little reason to complain.
